  • Note: Student Academic Success Services (SASS) recently moved under the Office of Undergraduate Education (OUE) and is now in Bruininks 511. The new office name is the Tutoring & Academic Success Center (TASC).

Most students find the academic demands of the U very challenging–even students who have excellent grades. The Tutoring & Academic Success Center (TASC) supports students in developing and strengthening academic abilities for increased efficiency and effectiveness.

Students who want dedicated time each week to focus on academic skills can get semester long support through the OUE Academic Success Courses. Students can also meet one-on-one for an Academic Success Coaching appointment with a staff member from TASC to get study skill support.  On average, students meet with a coach one to three times during a semester. Examples of areas covered in classes and coaching include (but are not limited to): how to read more efficiently, studying for and taking exams, and managing time more effectively.
